This newly opened hotel near the old city is a welcome change from the budget venues used by the average backpacker. Double/twin rooms start at RM39 with aircon, private bath, and local buffet breakfast(although the brekkie leaves a lot to be desired). All rooms are well proportioned and spotlessly clean. Although advertised, the mini-gym has yet to materialise, but they seem to be trying to raise the standard of budget accommodation on this popular hotel strip. There's a reasonably priced ASDL internet cafe (RM3p/h) where this very entry was written from. A warning to those who have been travelling around Asia though: attempts at negotiating a cheaper rate are fruitless.
