The Hotel Oasis is a very clean and nice place. Located near the harbor and looking over the town center, it is an ideal place to make a base on Paros if you want to be at the center of everything. It is right next to a maze of shops and restaurants and also walking distance from the one beach in Parikia. Literally a hop away from the harbor, this hotel offers a guest plenty of access to all of Paros.
The rooms are clean and well-kept. We were able to get a room with three beds (even though there were only two of us) for 35 Euros a night. A great deal and well-worth the price. You get a bathroom, television, air-conditioning and shared balcony. The room size is quite large although there is no desk. However, there is a wardrobe to put clothes. The floors are a cool marble and the hotel is quiet even though it is busy outside. The rooms are very clean and fresh. The bathrooms are spotless. The owners are very friendly and speak English. They were very helpful and concerned when we ended up stuck on the island because of a ferry strike. There is no real lobby or other hotel features. There are plenty of restaurants next door, including a place called Zorba's that had delicious, but very cheap, gyros.
The only problem here would be the bustle outside because of the location. The harbor is about a hundred feet away and often quite noisy. The ferries often blow their horns. However, the rooms do cut off the noise and I never had trouble sleeping because of noise. If you are looking for a quieter place right on the beach, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a cheap, clean hotel at the center of everything, this place is perfect.
