This is a large, multi-story hotel that costs more than others in Columbia because of its perfect location (right downtown). It has a restaurant and bar, several conference rooms, and all of the amenities that would be necessary for a business or pleasure trip. The hotel is more targeted for business travel. Even the honeymoon suites (we checked them out before deciding where to spend the first night of our honeymoon) are your standard hotel rooms. They do have nice king beds and closets, and a great view of the city skyline, but not much more than that. This hotel is great for convenience and the view, but for romance check out the Chestnut Cottage entry.
