We stayed at this hotel when we had to fly into Raleigh/Durham airport. Although it was trickier finding the hotel from the airport than we anticipated, once found it was a nice place.
There is plenty of parking available, all free, and the check in was very quick and friendly. We had a king suite which was decorated in cream & lemon and was very clean and bright. The room consisted of a sleeping area with king bed, dressing table, TV, then a living area with sofa, chair etc. The TV in the bedroom swiveled round to enable viewing in the living area. There was also a small kitchenette – sink, fridge, microwave, tea & coffee maker etc. The bathroom with bath, shower & vanity units was also very clean and bright.
The hotel has a large indoor pool and spa with a fitness centre for those more energetic amongst you, which looked very nice. We did not use these facilities as we only stayed the one night and didn’t want to unpack all our swimming stuff etc.
In the morning you get a complimentary USA Today newspaper and a continental breakfast. The breakfast consisted of muffins, bagels, croissants, toast, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. All very nicely presented and plenty available. Obviously you also get tea, coffee and fruit juices.
Although we only had one night here, I would not hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area, the bed was very comfortable and the pillow so good I wanted to take it home with me. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, the room does have a large choice of take-aways you can order in from nearby. We chose to visit the restaurant at the end of the road, a two minute walk away called the Outback Steakhouse. This proved to be a very good choice as the food and the service was excellent.
All in all this is a very nice hotel which I would have no problem recommending.
