Rooms are large and clean, with marble floors, air conditioning, and large 'wet-room'-type bathroom with western-style toilets. Hot showers and good room service. Friendly staff and pleasant gardens in a quiet back street, away from the tourist touts and noise of the city. Breakfast in the garden is a must at the start of the day, and the largely veggie menu is excellent, though not wide. A new restaurant is currently being built on the roof, but this does not affect the quietness of the hotel. In the last three days here, I have heard nothing of the work and only discovered it by accident. I look forward to using it next time - if I get back here.
