Description: The Lodge is sort of an "inbetween" price-wise, and a sort of odd place. It's a righteous old stone building, with the perfect location literarly right at the pool's edge. But it hasn't really lived up to it's situation and uniqueness somehow.
Look at where the are...yet instead of free passes to the hot pool--which they
control, they give guests a $2 discount. And look at the building--yet the interior rooms are very ordinary--not shabby or second rate, by anymeans, and not even bad for the price, but just sort of Ramada Inn or something. I would expect Victorian splendor from this place, or fortified torture chambers.
On the other hand, you're right there at the water. And especially in winter, that can be very nice. (The Lodge is heated by the same hot water that heats your tushie--the largest geothermal-heated building in Colorado.)
Well, here are some teeny pictures, and here are the numbers, you do the math. Myself, I'd take the babe to the Colorado to parlyze her with atmosphere and move a little faster getting from hot springs to bedsprings.
