The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly and the main reception area was huge with a shop to the right selling everything you could need, water, snacks, film, books, etc. and a bar to the left. The hotel also has it's own beach, though it's rocky and not great for swimming in, though a short walk will find you a sandier beach.
The rooms were adequate and clean, we had one on the ground floor with a small patio area complete with table and chairs. The room had the usual TV and telephone and a nice but slightly small bathroom.
There was a hotel pool, in fact two pools which were clean and well maintained. There are also cages of birds around the hotel - I don't know why but it's rather nice sitting on the patio drinking ouzo and listening to the birds getting ready for sleep. We also found a Rhodes Dragon in the grounds - a largish lizard who has beautiful markings.
The restuarant served a standard buffet style breakfast though the service wasn't very quick at filling things up.
Overall as a base to go and explore Rhodes, this is a great and quiet hotel, as it is actually about 15 mins walk from both Pefki and Lardos.
