The rooms are all windows, gauzy drapes, and white. The floor is Spanish tile. Very comfortable, spacious, clean. The bathroom is traditional Thai.
The women who run the hotel are extremely kind and eager to help you plan your stay in Krabi. Ask them about kayak trips. They will arrange for your transportation.
Breakfast is optional when negotiating the room price.
Not a "commercial" resort (no pool, no spa, no gym, no gift shop... just a few postcards).
Extremely reasonabe in price (single ~$30/night). If you're not looking for the rugged variety of accomodations available in Krabi, Aonang Paradise Resort is definitely a step up.
