The rooms were old but kept spotless. Maid service was consistent and the staff was extremely friendly, almost like family. If you don''t like the oldies, don''t hang out at the pool. There were endless songs piped in from the main office and overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was small but never crowded and was kept maintained throughout our weeklong stay. Most of the rooms have good views. Our room was on the corner and gave us a wonderful view of Sunset Lake. The lake is quite active during the day with ski mobiles and various other small craft. At night, you can watch cruise boats passing through with hundreds of miniature colored lights reflecting brightly on the water.
Oh, by the way, if you don''t like dogs this is not the place to stay. Pets are allowed, and when we were there (beginning of August) there was one lodger with 3 dogs. They were all very well behaved. The owner (Kay) was very accomodating and took care of all our requests in a timely manner. Hope to see you there!!!!
