My husband and I stayed in the "Red Room," an en-suite room facing the relatively quiet street, which features a beautiful four-poster bed. Our daughter had a small single next door, which did not have its own bath, so she shared ours. Total price for the 2 rooms was 90 Brittish pounds, or about $135 US. This hotel warns you in advance that they tack on a 4% surcharge for payment by credit card, so try to pay with cash.

Breakfast was nice, in an eclectic Art Decco/1950's dining room. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach, Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilions, and the shopping/dining district.

I'm checking "Family" and "Gay and Lesbian." I stayed there with my family, most of the other guests appeared to be Gay or Lesbian. If any heterosexuals have problems with that, then they should stay at one of the less charming places that cater to "Old Biddies" instead!

Beautiful 3 storied Bed and Breakfast just blocks from the sea. Light, airy, and well-furnished rooms. The owners were friendly and helpful with dining recommendations and sights. Typical English breakfast served daily. No parking available but we found it easy to park and leave the car for our duration (everything is in walking distance).
