The best thing about Matchroom is the front desk staff. They are helpful and polite.
Resort Experience:
The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are outdated. Maid service is only 3 times per week, and you're going to freeze if you visit during the winter. It's warmer outside than inside. The hot water heater is so small that one adult can barely take a 3 minute shower (we know, we timed it). The gym is old and some of the machines didn't work. The jacuzzi was not working while we were there and the indoor pool is not heated. We didn't eat in the restaurant because it was incredibly expensive and didn't look that great. Overall, RCI should reconsider this resort's Gold Crown rating. The rooms are certainly not up to par and the amenities leave a lot to be desired as well. Matchroom is lucky to have a great location.
