Hotel Bonpix

The Hotel Bonprix is a hotel in the slightly industrial area of Brühl. It is mainly intended for businesspeople who need a place to stay whilst working in the local area. The hotels are well-equipped with TV, phone, and a computer, and although the view is nothing special, the rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms don't have a bath--just a shower--and there is no swimming pool, but it does offer a large range of conference rooms, which my study visit used as classrooms.

I was staying in the "Gästehaus", which is an extra building with 17 more rooms, about 200 yards down the street. There is no restaurant in the Gästehaus, so you have to walk over to the main hotel to eat. The food in the restaurant is nothing special (fish/chicken and chips, spaghetti Bolognese), but it is really good for what it is.

The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are a little bit too big lengthwise and too thin. Aside from all this, the Hotel Bonprix is basically a hotel for school trips and businessmen, but it suits these two purposes perfectly.
