The only place to stay in Cape May if you're looking for a B&B WITH a pool!!! Personally, I love having a pool at the place I stay, but when in Cape May I won't give up the luxury of staying in a Victorian B&B just to have a pool....isn't the stay at a B&B part of the charm and appeal? In order to have a pool I'd have to check into one of the motels or hotels and that just does not have the same appeal to me. SO, if you're one of those people that just has to have a pool...stay at the Wilbraham Mansion! The pool is an indoor pool that overlooks the large yard - even better! When it's freezing and snowing in January, take your mind off the cold in the heated pool!
The address says "West Cape May" but believe me, it is not "far away" or in the boonies. The Mansion is still located walking distance to everything! You're just a block away from the great Italian restaurant, "Godmothers" !! The Mansion has bikes too so take advantage and go for a ride. They also have on-site parking - a rare commodity in Cape May. And don't worry if you forgot your toothbrush - Rite-Aid is a stone's throw away.
The Mansion is amazing! Each time I have stayed there it's been like we own it and it' our home. We rarely ran into other guests except at breakfast or on the porch. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with period pieces.
I will be sure to return to the Wilbraham year after year!
