The two young brothers that own the home are very charming and gracious. When I stayed there they were still working on refurbishing the house and the room that were completed were gorgeous, large rooms. I came to Cape May on a whim (Note: Don't go on a whim. Rooms can be near impossible to come by!). Needless to say, we got lucky. Very lucky. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room that was not even close to being renovated yet. Yes, we're talking the "attic" here folks. But we were just so happy to have found a place to stay that we did not care. To us, it was "rustic". By now I would imagine they may have finished the 3rd floor. If it was made into a suite than get it before someone else does - the two rooms up there are H U G E !!!!!
Location is key in Cape May and this one takes the cake... You basically step off the porch into the Washington Street Mall!
If they are still working on the house, don't expect it to be the Ritz Carlton, but if you're looking for a place to stay where privacy is definitely something that is respected, location is optimal, cost is right, and hosts are gracious, then look no further.
