The room at this hotel has no view of the lake, but the architectural details are somewhat unique and unusual. Our room was cavernous, and being on the seventh floor, was actually a suite with a loft. The sitting room, with a day bed large enough to accommodate two, and the bedroom in the loft. The art and antiques were heavy, reminiscent of the middle ages. However, an elegance seeps out of these pieces. The service was efficient and courteous, the staff spoke English with perfect enunciation that put my boyfriend and me to shame.
