During our trip to Fiji we stayed at 2 different resorts. At the first resort we stayed in a breeze cooled bure (pronounced buray), right on the beach. It was a wonderful experience!! We can't wait to go back. It did get a little warm at times, so if you prefer air conditioning, stay in the hotel part of the resort. In my opinion, the experience of the bures is worth an afternoon pool/ocean plunge to cool down.
One caution -- there are Garden Bures at this resort. I did not stay in these, but it seemed that these bures would be quite a bit warmer than the Beach Front Bures, because they don't get as much of a breeze from the ocean. A bit cheaper, but I don't think they would be as comfortable as the Beach Front Bures.
