Swept Away Cottages

We had a three bedroom cottage. There was a master bedroom with king size bed, a large second bedroom upstairs with two queen size beds, a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed, and two double sofa beds in the living room. The cottage was spacious with great facilities including full kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. There was a gas barbecue on the deck out front and a large whirlpool tub in the bathroom. The cottage had pine interior and furniture and was in perfect condition. We rented two cottages and there was six people in ours and five in the other, so no one had to use the sofa beds. It still worked out at just $30 CD per person per night. They were set in a beautiful area and were only a very short drive from the closest shops and restaurants. Cavendish is about a half hour drive from the island's capital, Charlottetown - if you go the right way first time, which we didn't!!
