This is the friendliest hostel I have ever stayed at, and it seemed that most of the other guests thought the same.
The accommodation is clean and tidy without being spectacular, but the thing that makes it special is the owner Zacki.
Upon arrival he'll introduce you to everybody who is nearby--and he knows the name of everybody staying there. So you instantly feel at home. When new people arrive they'll be introduced to you in the same way, so conversations just start naturally. Within two days you'll know everyone and feel like you've been there for months.
Every night there's a bonfire you can sit round and chat or, if you prefer, there is a large TV room with hundreds of movies to put on.
Zacki also knows his stuff about the area and the walking tours that are available.
If you're going to the Highlands I can't recommend it highly enough. Honestly!
