Resort Experience:
Fairfield Bay is a self-contained resort with plenty of activities to keep even the most active family busy. There were four outdoor pools that we had access to, as well as tennis courts, mini golf, boat trips, restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails, bowling, family activities, 2 nights of karaoke, and trail rides on horseback. The boat ride to and hike up Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of Greers Ferry Lake was a highlight of our trip The staff is very friendly and wants to tailor their assistance to your specific needs. The resort is clean and well maintained, despite being at least 20 years old. The welcome party was especially helpful in understanding what the resort had to offer, and the door prizes given out were useful and fun (we won a 45-minute trail ride). The color brochure of weekly activities at the resort was helpful and appreciated. In the room, the view from the balcony was spectacular, and the washer, dryer, dishwasher, and entertainment system (including a CD player and DVD and VHS player) were appreciated.

Resort Experience:
I came back with more than a spring break with my family. I came back from Fairfield Bay with a memorable experience. The units are fabulous! With all the space and amenities, I had everything a 13-year-old would need. I have been to several resorts, and this was the one I remember the most. Don't think much of Arkansas? You will when you visit Fairfield Bay.

Resort Experience:
We were extremely pleased with the variety of options for our family, which includes two adults and two pre-schoolers. There was swimming, bowling, miniature golf, horse rides, nature trails, a dart tournament, a "beach" (sand poured over a boat ramp, but little kids have low expectations), and more. Our Cliffside Lodge unit was within walking distance to the best pool at the resort, as well as to the recreation center and racquet club, where we checked out games and went to evening activities. The master bathroom had a HUGE whirlpool tub in it, and the back deck was large enough for an outdoor picnic. The area is hilly and woodsy-very picturesque. We would definitely return to Fairfield Bay!

Rent a boat on Greer's Fairy lake, if available and boats are working.

Very much a retirement community. Not a lot to do. Fairfield was very demanding of my time and wanted to pressure sell me into points.

Swimming pools, golf and miniature golf, horseback riding, restaurants on resort, things to do everyday.
Resort Experience:
Very spread out and peaceful. Beautiful views and the weather was great. Plenty of things to do on the resort itself. Room was standard--nothing fancy--but staff was very helpful and efficient.
