Hotel Alkyon

My first thought when we were shown to our room at the Hotel Alkyon was that it was bigger than some of my apartments had been!
It is a 4 star, family run hotel that has amazing views. Our room had a terrace, satellite TV, radio, fridge and thankfully, a/c.
The main building is where they will serve your buffet breakfast (included in the price) as well as the TV lounge. You can eat inside or out on the spacious veranda.
The pool is another fantastic amenity. Sparkling clean and just the right temperature, it is surround by deck loungers so you can lay in the sun to your heart''s content. If you get hungry, they will serve you Greek salad and other light food poolside.
The hotel itself is located on a small mountain, which accounts for the stunning views. Mykonos town is just a short 10 minute walk away, you just follow the foot path.
At night, have a drink from the bar and enjoy the Aegaean sunset.
