The ocean was definitely the best thing nearby. We arrived after a couple nights of storms, so there was lots of seaweed to wade through... yuk!!!!
Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this resort was that it is very family-oriented. Several of the people that we met are longtime owners and really care about the resort. We used the pool on a daily basis and never had to worry about getting a chair.
Resort Experience:
We had what was called a three-bedroom unit. The unit itself was well appointed with everything you would need, including a balcony overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a king-size bed and two queen-size beds, two living rooms and one full kitchen, as well as a partial kitchen. Only complaint is that there was not a TV in the bedroom with two queen-size beds, and the only way to one of the bathrooms was through the master bedroom. Furniture was typical beach furniture that most beach resorts contain.
The resort itself is fairly small - only 40 units total. The resort was well kept and very clean. They could use an updated elevator. Activities could have been better - few and far between. The activities director was hard to utilize - either she was too busy and at another resort. Got the impression she could care less about her guests. When we did get help from her, the info she gave us was not correct. But overall, our family had a wonderful time here.
