Best Things Nearby:
Shopping in town nearby.
Great seafood.
Get a rental car.

Best Things About the Resort:
Close to small grocery store to stock up for week, but we had to buy large bottles, mostly stocked for local shopping. Good deli.

Resort Experience:
Beautiful oceanside view, clean. Helpful staff. Language not a problem on property. Other restaurants and shops across the street. A car is a must to see more of the island, and it's easy to get around. Go south to other beaches. Dinner at Massai, an agri-tourismo, about an hour drive is a must. Excellent place to stay.A lovely Art Deco building on the seafront with a wonderful view of the beach.It was clean and homely. The bedrooms were more like that of a small hotel than a hostel.
