Ballyloughane Caravan and Camping Park

The Caravan Camping site is pretty nice and located overlooking Galway Bay; however, there isnt much shelter from the wind should a gale start blowing. There are three small fields in which to camp: the first one at the entrance of the site is used mostly for Caravans, and the other two fields are used for tents and motor homes. There is a hedge bordering the site at the shore side with gives a good cover from the wind, but the remaining area is exposed. The ground slopes upwards away from the sea making it a little uneven and hilly in places. Modern, fully-equipped campers' kitchens and dining rooms with TVs and laundry facilities are also available. There is a Supermarket and newsagent within 200m. It's around £10 per night for a family tent.
