Annie's Jughandle Beach B&B

The web site indicated that you could walk across a field to the ocean. Wrong! First you had to cross busy Highway 1. The place is on a corner where the log trucks turn and grind uphill. Incredible noise all the time, and then add dogs, children, etc.

But the worst was inside. We had what was called a "barn suite." Ha! Dark, almost no lights, no window that opened, no closet, no place to put anything in the bathroom, no night stand and on and on. It was damp and gloomy with the lack of ventilation, and the only source for any heat was an electric fireplace. To call this a suite is an insult and a joke all in one.

But, the breakfast was pretty good.
