Located in Milan rather than Sandusky, this Day''s Inn was no more than about a 10 minute drive from Cedar Point yet managed to save us a lot of money over anything comparable in Sandusky. We paid about $50 a night for a room with two double beds and access to a nice indoor pool and a reasonably well stocked game room. The staff was quite friendly and the hotel was very clean. In fact, we even managed to pick up some discount tickets to Cedar Point at the front desk. Restaurants around the hotel were abundant, mostly fast food, but acceptable since we spent most of our time at Cedar Point. When I return to Cedar Point this summer, I''ll probably go back here. I like the idea of staying in a hotel that''s reasonably quiet and free from kids running around everywhere like you''ll find at the park hotels.
