Breakers Express is a great hotel located just outside the Cedar Point grounds. The hotel rooms are clean, and we've never had a problem reserving a room here. The staff generally know how to get guests checked in as fast as possible. The only drawback is you must still pay for theme park parking (unlike staying at the other resorts). You also get an extra hour to spend in the park by staying at this resort.

This historic hotel is on the shores of Lake Eric adjacent to Cedar Point, a grand remnant from the illustrious days of the park. It has a beautiful lobby and smallish rooms, but the atmosphere is unbeatable! You''ll feel like you''re stepping back in time.

The best thing about the hotel is the huge pool area. When you go in the pool area, there are a couple things to do. You can swim in the heated pool, go in the hot tub, or stand under a huge waterfall shaped like an umbrella. The rooms were also nice. There is a cable television and nice big bathroom. The room was close to the park, and it was very clean.

Inside the hotel there were many things that appealed to me. One thing I enjoyed was the game-room inside the doorway of the hotel. There I played pinball, air hockey, and the claw machines. I also enjoyed the beach right behind the hotel, and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

There were many shops inside of the hotel including a pizza shop, and ice-cream parlor, a gift shop, and a breakfast buffet/restaurant. We ate at the breakfast buffet restaurant, but I didn't care for it.

My family and I stayed in the newest tower of the hotel. We had two beds, one bath, and a very nice view of the park. Since we were on the ninth floor, we could see over the trees and look down on the park. At night the roller coasters lit up, and they were pretty to look at. The pricing was a little expensive, but I think it was worth it because it was close to the park, and the view was very pretty.
