When we arrived the office was not open, even though ...Read more This was our first time staying at Harbor Hill, Provincetown, MA. We choose this place because it was rated a 4 star resort. I would rate this resort a 2. We did not have a pleasant experience. When we arrived the office was not open, even though on the website it indicated hrs were 9:00 - 4:00 p.m. We arrived around 3:00 p.m., had to wait for someone to open up the office. Donna the front desk person was not pleasant to deal with at all.She was short with us. When we asked her for suggestions about restaurants, she blurted that this was not peak time & she did not know of any place at all. We entered our place only to find that the master bathroom was not cleaned at all. Before we could tell Donna about it, the office was closed. The next morning I told her about it. A cleaning person did come and clean the bathroom for us, apologizing for how it looked. She was very nice; she even suggested a few places to eat. I didn't get her name. Also, she gave us another frying pan because we only had one frying pan. Another draw back was that we had someone check in above our condo at 11:30 p.m.; they were very loud and kept us up till 2:00 a.m. The next night they were still up at 11:30 p.m., we knocked on their door, they told us that they were sorry. They finally quieted down at 1:00 a.m. If the condo was sound proof it would of been fine but we heard everything. All the condos were not fully occupied; the family above us should have been given a lower level especially because they checked in so late at night. It sounded like they could not control their children because we could hear them running across the room into the early hours of the evening.

It would be good to have a binder in each condo listing some restaurants. We did have a binder but no suggestions on any restaurants at all.

As far as the location, it was perfect. We were able to walk down to town, ride our bikes as well. It was nice having a grill available. We did use it once. Also, it was nice to walk down to the jetty.

I would not stay at this resort again. Close
