Best Things Nearby:
The best things nearby were the mountains, the parks with lots of hiking trails, the wildlife, and of course, skiing.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this resort was the convenience of the location.

Resort Experience:
We were a little disappointed in the service, but in all fairness, it was the off season. There was no one to check us in and no one showed up at the desk for three days after we checked in. We were able to reach them by phone. The rooms were large enough to accommodate us. There were five of us in a two-bedroom condo. We asked to be on the side away from a noisy train, and they were able to get us away from the tracks, so that wasn't too bad. The weather was great. We did get a 7-inch snow. There were many things to do even in the off season. The Visitor Center was very helpful in helping us plan activities.

Winter Park Resort, outdoor activities, mountain biking.

Best Things About the Resort:
An indoor swimming pool and parking.

Resort Experience:
The timeshare is very simple, but comfortable. It is close to the railroad tracks and the train is easily heard in some of the units. They offer a good hospitality hour with much information about local events and guided trips to nearby attractions. A very enjoyable day trip can be made to Rocky Mountain National Park where the scenery is beautiful and you nearly always see elk and often see moose.
