The Seacroft is the best place in town without a doubt. We've been there every time we've traveled to Bar Harbor. It's an inn with homey rooms -- if you're looking for extra plush rooms, go to one of the new hotels and spend too much money. Rooms are air-conditioned, have small TVs, and phones for incoming calls only. Each morning, waiting outside your door is a basket with fresh muffins, granola bars, juice and fruit. Coffee is served each morning on the front porch as well.
The owners of the Seacroft, Bunny and Dave, can tell you anything and everything you want to know about Bar Harbor. The inn is located on a beautiful little side street and is just a few buildings from Main Street, and in the other direction, just a few houses from the ocean.
