This is a modern-looking hotel, but unfortunately it's not especially clean, so if this is a priority you might try someplace else. It is also surprisingly expensive for the lack of attention to housekeeping. If you find the secret tunnel leading under the train tracks (ask the concierge), you will discover that you are actually quite close to the beach. Otherwise, the longer route will take you on a roundabout journey through traffic. (There’s also a great sandwich shop and bakery nextdoor, so it’s easy to pack a picnic before you head down to the beach.)
