Best Things About the Resort:
The villas were huge, lots of privacy for 2 couples. Each group of villas had a pool so you didn't have to walk very far.
Resort Experience:
We arrived quite early, and our villa wasn't ready, but they let us check in and put our things in it. This gave us space in the car to load up with groceries! By the time we came back from shopping, everything was ready for us.

The resort is gorgeous, nestled in the mountains. The rooms are tremendous and beautifully decorated. The sliding glass door opened up to a beautiful patio with the golf course immediately in front of us, and the mountains on the left and right of us. The staff were very helpful and the guests were the friendliest people in the world! I visited in December, and most of the guests were senior citizens, but we had so much fun with everyone, especially on the tours. If you want to sight see in San Diego, it is an hour away, so I recommend going on the tours. Lenny, the bus driver is the greatest. Take the tour of Tijuana and he'll tell you all the reputable stores to go to.

Resort Experience:
Very serene, quiet, and tucked away from hassles of traffic and people, yet adajacent to both. It's easy to get to and get out of. Friendly and courteous staff with immaculate grounds.

Our villa was great. It was very clean, albeit a little well used, but still was exceptional!!! The rooms were huge. You could have a party in the bathrooms. One bathroom only had a shower but that was made to order as we travelled with my parents & my mother has bad knees & cannot get into the tub without assistance. This shower also had a seat built into it...the other bathroom had a huge tub/shower combo. The bedrooms were great, both had ceiling fans & sliding doors out to the patio. The living room sat 4 very comfortably & the kitchen was so well appointed that you could have entertained the troops!!! The resort is also built around the golf course so even it you don't golf you can still enjoy the carts filled with golfers go past as you are sitting on your furnished balcony. The grounds are perfectly manicured. They crew is always cleaning up something...we weren't sure there was anything left to clean up but they certainly kept busy & it really showed.

Hiking, walking, golf. A 1/2 hour drive to San Diego, where there are a lot of attractions.
Best Things About the Resort:
The resort offers many activities for visitors. Kids and adults alike. We were able to visit San Diego, but come back to the resort to its beautiful, natural surroundings. Away from the city lights and freeways.
Resort Experience:
Wonderful! We loved just about everything here. Th accomodations were terrific. They had activities for our kids during the day so we could play tennis and play at the pools. They had a couple of nice recreation centers with table tennis and much more. With young children we weren't able to golf. This resort primarily catered to a more mature crowd, but we met a few families. Some grandchildren on vacation with their grandparents. There is much to do for everyone here!
