Hotel Fazenda& Golf Solar das Andorinhas

This colonial hotel establishment is like a place back in time. The facilities are enormous with a mini planterium, old style country cooking and homemade sweets for dessert. Rooms are pleasant and worth the visit for relaxation. On Saturdays, they serve Feijoada, which is a traditional Brazilian cuisine. On Sundays, they offer "Leitoa", which is pig. You must also try their "pururucu",which is made from pig and resembles pig rinds. They are very good eaten while drinking a beer.

To get there, you must depart Sao Paulo city heading on Via Anhanquera or Via dos Bandeirantes till arriving at V.D. Pedro. It is about four miles off Pedro. It takes about an hours drive from Sao Paulo. It is located ten miles from the center of Campinas. Great place to enjoy your vacation.

Fazenda is a family resort facility where time is spent truly enjoying yoursleves, from their four different swimming pools and outdoor soccer and volleyball fields.

The rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and color televisons. They have a swimming pool for children with a huge revolving slide and waterfalls.

At this resort all meals are included with weekend cookouts. This place is designed for real family fun.

They have seven lakes which have fishing available. If you catch a fish, their staff shall cook it for you.

Now, that''s the life, huh? As to the prices for staying here: They actually decrease the longer you choose to stay when booking your visit there.

Example: Two people pay about 40 dollars each and children slightly lower if staying for two days.

If you choose to book for one week, the fare drops to about thirty five dollars each adult and children lower as well. Our family really enjoyed our stay there. There are horses which can for a stroll around the area. They offer as well,a young and patient crew of kid-sitters, as the adults may care to take a night on the town. Enjoy the clean mountain air too.
