Best Things About the Resort:
Watching the sunset from our lanai.

Resort Experience:

The resort is small--only about 32 units, and the two-bedroom is compact. Plenty of room and a full lanai. We had a water view and the sunsets were incredible. The grounds and the pool are very nice.

Best Things Nearby:
The beach was great for shelling and the water was a wonderful 82 degrees. The pool on site was where we spent most of our time because it was so close to the room.

Best Things About the Resort:
The view out of our second story balcony was the best thing about the resort -- it overlooked the beach and the gulf. We also greatly enjoyed the pool area and the gas grills located there.

Resort Experience:
A very quiet and relaxing location located directly on the beach, the rooms were well maintained and kept up to date. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which comfortably slept 5 of us. The common grounds were well manicured and cleanliness was obviously a priority. There were plenty of activities available, but, for the most part, we just chose to relax by the pool or walk on the beach and enjoy a real vacation.

Best Things Nearby:
The beach is a short walk from the lovely pool area, and you can collect some beautiful shells each morning. Sailboards, jet-skis, and Sea-Doos are all available to rent, along with beach chaise chairs and umbrellas. Nearby hotel restaurants are within walking distance on the beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
The unit was very spacious and decorated in a tropical, breezy nature with rattan furnishings. The screened-in lanai provided a lovely place to relax and unwind in chaise lounge chairs (without pesky mosquitoes). I preferred having a pool view rather than an ocean view, especially since the tropical plants and landscaping were so gorgeous. The gated security entrance to and from the beach made you feel completely safe.

Resort Experience:
Club Regency is a beautiful facility with well kept grounds and a nice pool area. I really enjoyed staying there during off-peak season. It is very clean and the staff is most helpful.

The unit has a nice bar area with its own sink, glass shelving, blender, and glasses so you can entertain easily after a busy day at the beach or shopping. The kitchen and dining areas were spacious, so if you elect to cook your own meals, it's a breeze. There is an additional table and four chairs (rattan, tropical style) out on the screened-in lanai, so you can seat 8 people comfortably for a dinner party if needed.

Parasailing, lounge chair and umbrella rentals, wet bikes, sailboats.

Best Things About the Resort:
One of the only low-rise condos on the beach; the 32-unit complex is quaint, family-oriented, and has a very loyal following. Great gas grills by pool, with gas lines--not tanks. Units have easy access to beach. No long lines or big crowds. Very quiet. Reserved, covered parking under unit. Borrow games at office for no charge. Pontoon-boat excursion available through management office. No lobby or elevators.

Resort Experience:
Club Regency is like a hidden jewel in the condo canyons of Marco Island. Our two children, 15 and 11, never wanted to leave the complex. They played tennis, went to the pool, met other teens their own ages, and played games. There was a very relaxing, calm, and unpretentious atmosphere. It was the perfect beach vacation place.

You don't have to go out to eat at all if you don't want to. Just plan your meals and bring your food, and you never have to go out for dinner or bust your budget. If you want to go out, there are certainly many wonderful places nearby. Many you can go to in shorts and beach shoes. The first week in August was very slow there, but we liked it that way. Small problems with the unit were fixed immediately. Building E is the beachfront building; the rest of the units face the pool. Lanais are screened, which is better for small children.
