This is an owner-managed resort, so there was a lot of tough talk about the fines they would impose if we didn't adhere to the rules (ie, taking the trash to the dumpster), but overall our experience was good, and we would come back again.
Village Green is right in town, close to the Stowe Recreation Path. If you've got kids, try Pie in the Sky pizza or the Depot Street Malt Shop for dinner, and the Swimming Hole pool has a cool indoor water slide.

Overall, we were very pleased with the unit, except for one minor flaw and one more significant flaw. The minor flaw was that there were no bathrooms on the first floor where the kitchen, dining, and living area were located. The more significant flaw was that the unit did not have a washer/dryer. The laundry facilities for the resort are located in the clubhouse. Unfortunately, access to the laundry facilites is only available from 8am to 5pm. They stated at check-in that in order to complete a load of laundry, they recommended starting by 3:30pm. Since we were out of the unit either skiing or exploring Stowe, we were never back to the unit before the laundry facilities closed. The only alternative is a laundromat in town.
