Our condominium was owned by a family and rented out throughout the year. We had a kitchen, living room with a pull-out couch, a half bath, and a screened-in porch downstairs, plus a master bedroom with a king bed, smaller bedroom with two twin beds, and two full bathrooms upstairs. The condo fit six people very comfortably. The house was fully furnished and decorated, and the kitchen held dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. By cooking your own meals, you could save a lot of money on your vacation. Several grocery stores were nearby. Blindpass guests have access to a private beach, just a short walk from the condos. There was also a nice pool.

There are several choices in this complex--we had your basic 2 br/2bath flat unit. The next time I do this, however, I will opt for the townhouse version as it is not much more expensive and it has 2 floors, with a screened in porch. The flat had no screened porch, and the mosquitoes are viscious in the summer. So once you came in for the nite, that was it--also this complex is non-smoking, so if you want to smoke, it had to be done outside and the porch would have been nice to sit outside and have a few drinks and smoke. Also I would recommend a unit closer to the pool and away from the water since their is a lagoon type thing which is bridged between the complex and the gulf--it harbors mosquitoes as well as various fish and reptiles--my daughters said they saw a gator out there one nite and I wouldn''t doubt it!! We drove around the island and found this to be a much better choice than many of the other properties on the island and much cheaper too.
