The resort offers a choice of accommodation style. Most short-term visitors will opt for a hotel room Some have spa baths and some have balconies. There are also 25 self contained chalets with two bedrooms suitable for families of 4-6. The chalets have a separate living area and a fully equipped kitchen.
We found the recreational facilities to be excellent. The indoor centre has a heated pool, spa, steam room, paddling pool and fully equipped gymnasium. There was also a games room with table tennis, eight ball table and video games. Outdoors there was two day/night tennis courts, a children’s playground, canoes or paddle boats on the lake, and a 9-hole golf course.
The shopping arcade was a delight. We couldn’t keep away from the bakery. The Alpenrose Family Restaurant and Bar was open for lunch and dinner and the food was excellent. We would have loved to try the Edelweiss Lakeside Restaurant, with staff dressed in traditional costume, but we ran out of time.
One night was just not enough.
