Best Things Nearby:
SKI APACHE, Valley of the Fires, White Sands National Monument, Pistachio Farms, Indian culture. Inn of the Mountain Gods (resort and casino), Ruidoso Downs, and Billy the Kid Casino; there's also another casino at a travel center (very nice). Also snowmobiling, snow tubing, horseback riding
Best Things About the Resort:
The view, peace and quiet, the wildlife, and the stars... OH! THE STARS.
Resort Experience:
High Sierra sits atop Camelot Mountain. The condos all over look toward the mountains; you can see Ski Apache from there. The town of Ruidoso sits well below the condo. It's wonderful there. We hope to go back soon.

The city of Ruidoso, the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Lincoln County, and the New Mexico attractions were the best.
Best Things About the Resort:
It sits atop Camelot Mountain and provides outstanding views of the mountains, valleys, and Inn of the Mountain Gods
Resort Experience:
It was very relaxing and peaceful, with outstanding views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and lakes. It is off the beaten path and very quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of family activities and attractions within an hour of travel time.

The resort is very remote and not close to anything. The Apache Casino, 7 miles away from the resort, has an excellent and reasonably priced buffet. The resort has a nice indoor pool and offers a nice quiet atmosphere to help travelers relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
Best Things About the Resort:
It was comfortable and well maintained. Our unit was one of the oldest, and was to get new furnishings and carpet after we left. The unit was still in good shape while we were there.
Resort Experience:
The timeshare consisted of a series of two-story buildings. Our unit was upstairs and had a large balcony. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the unit.

Best Things Nearby:
Just down the mountain is the city of Ruidoso with great restaurants, fun shops, and horse racing. About 30 minutes away is the Apache ski area, and about 20 minutes the opposite direction is the Apache Casino.
Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing is the view. You're on top of a 7,000 foot mountain overlooking the Mescalero Apache valley and Sierra Blanco where you can ski from Nov. to March.
Resort Experience:
Our two-bedroom unit was huge with a nice kitchen, washer/dryer, and a balcony from which you can see millions of stars. The bathroom is suite style with separate vanities and toilets and a shared tub/shower. It's a small resort with a tennis court and indoor pool/sauna. It was peaceful while being convenient to area attractions. In March the weather is fabulous--30s - 70s.
