The best things nearby are fast food restaurants. Shopping on Hurontario Street and the view of the Blue Mountains and Wasaga Beach (which is the longest fresh water beach in the world)!
Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this timeshare is you can occupy a unit that is close to the onsite restaurant, indoor pool/jacuzzi and recreation center.
Resort Experience:
We enjoyed our stay at Law Cranberry. We had a 2 bedroom unit in the new expansion which we found out was a lot smaller than the older units. The newer units did not have a washer/dryer in them like the older ones did. Also we had to request a VCR when one is already provided in the older units. I think on my next visit I would request checkin on a Sunday (which is the day of the week where you will get the older and still nice, much larger unit)!
The resort is great for kids. They have a salt water indoor pool with a large jacuzzi (which seats about 10 people). They have a game room that includes a pool table. They also have an exercise room. The recreation center is small but we enjoyed planned activities there such as bingo, movie night and several activities geared toward kids.
There is a stable and tennis courts on the grounds. You can enjoy horse back riding, pony rides or rent a bike at the recreation center. There are trails for everything! The resort is huge!
Inside our unit there was a king size bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom with a queen pull-out couch in the living room. We enjoyed a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub).
The Cranberry Cafe, which is the restaurant located at the resort, was not my favorite but we tried it out with the coupons we won playing bingo one night!
Law Cranberry Resort is a nice place to visit for a relaxing, peaceful vacation! You can even stop at Niagra Falls on your way home!!
