The Dresdner Hutte lies at 2302m and lies in the centre of a main skiing centre and has been refurbishing its upper accomodation. The hut has an extensive kitchen facility serving a large resturant which supports commanding views over the surrounding facilities (i.e. the ski lifts!). Specialities include a decent range of Ice Cream dishes and a varying range of cakes.
On the down side the prices reflect its prime location and the staff tended to be a bit abrupt in their service. The drying room is tiny in comparison to the size of the building and quite poorly heated. Hot showers are available (for a fee).
This hut has made moves towards a few souvenirs but nothing spectacular - postcards, badges, a couple of T-shirts and a fleece were all that was on offer - at least it was a start.
