Aldof Pichler Hutte

The Aldof Pichler Hut at 1977m is a fairly basic affair but of good quality. Whilst the building is kept very clean - only cold water is available and there are no showers but otherwise the Hutte has a friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable staff. Whilst comfortable the hutte could easily become overcrowded and so is possibly worth planning for only a short stay here. Orientation Entering the building through the tables & chairs on the terrace turn right into the boot area / corridor. To the left of the boot area is the main guest room but during busy time there is an overspill room on the right. Straight ahead are toilet facilities. Next to the main door are the stairs leading upward into the main dormitory area with washing and toilet facilities along one side of the building and the bedrooms (bunk style MatratzenLagers) slotted in - there are also additional accomodation areas on the ground floor used during particularly busy times. Main Opening: 15 June - 15 October
