Fairfield Anaheim at Dolphin's Cove

Best Things Nearby:

Best Things About the Resort:
Daily activities

Resort Experience:
It is a converted apartment building, but to me, the grounds were wonderful. I have five kids, and there was plenty of room for all of us in our two-bedroom. It had a full kitchen with all the amenities I needed to cook almost every day. They had a pool that was no deeper than 5 feet. This was great, because neither myself nor any of my kids can swim (only my husband). They also had a kiddy pool, which came in handy, because I have two young children ages 4 and 2.

Best Things About the Resort:
They had activities for my family every day. So on the days we did not go to Disneyland, they had something to do.

Resort Experience:
This is an established, smaller resort, but it has a lot to offer. It doesn’t look like a lot from the outside, but it gets better inside.

We stayed in a two-bedroom unit and had a lot of room. It was very clean. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. We had two bathrooms, a living room, dining area, and a full kitchen with settings for eight.

The resort has two floors, and every unit has either a balcony or patio. I called before our arrival and requested an upstairs unit. The staff is super nice and very helpful.

I liked the Monday towel exchange. They took the trash, too. The midweek cleaning was also a big plus. (You don't get this in every resort.)

They have different activities for children every day. The pool is nice and heated but nothing fancy.

You will be able to watch Disneyland's fireworks every night. Here is a little tip: Go to the backside parking lot of the resort, have a seat on the stairs, and enjoy the show. If you can see the Tower of Terror, you are in the right place.

Best Things About the Resort:
It is very close to Disneyland.

Resort Experience:
They have nicely presented rooms with nice lounge, dining, and kitchen areas. There is a big-screen TV, and they have very nice grounds. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants, but there is no good bus service to LA, which was a disappointment.

The accommodations are wonderful! We have a two- bedroom, two-bath unit that sleeps six to eight people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, with either twin beds or a queen-size bed in the second bedroom. There is a queen-size bed in the sofa sleeper. They have complete kitchens, with full-size appliances, dish soap, and paper towels included. There are balconies or, if you are on the ground level, patios, both with outdoor furniture. There are many activities and amenities if you choose to just stay at the resort.
