We went in the off season so rates reflect that price plus a AAA discount. We paid $72.00 per night. We stayed in the Wildflower room which has two very comfortable twin beds, a large closet, robes, fans, a table, two very comfortable chairs and reminds one of being at grandma's house. A full breakfast is served in the morning with your choice of muffins, granola, pancakes, breads, juice, homemade biscotti, fresh yogurt, cheese, fruit, coffee and tea. Throughout the day they leave a pitcher of fresh lemonade, ice tea and homemade goodies out on the counter for guest to indulge in at their leisure. In the winter there is an informal tea in the afternoon in front of a roaring fire place. Guest who stay in the Wildflower (we did) and the Peony rooms have a shared bathroom. The bathroom is quite large and spacious. There is one shower but has two shower heads stategically placed I believe for couples on a romantic rezendevous. They provide you with a hair dryer in the bathroom, fresh towels, top quality soaps, shampoos and lotions. The Inn has a total of 5 rooms and 5 suites and all are furnished with all of the comforts of home. I must not that our room did not have a tv but that was fine we were there to enjoy the city and not be distracted by the boob tube. Ammenities vary from room to room but you will never feel as if you are missing out on anything because the city is such that you will be out and about exploring all that it has to offer. Also, the Inn provides newpapers, maps, information for local restaurants and attractions. The staff is knowledgeable about all things Santa Fe and will even make whatever reservations you need at local restaurants. It is a wonderful place that is a 10 -15 minute walk to the Plaza and in a neighborhood that is safe and welcoming. It was as I said like taking a trip to your favorite grandmother's house and being spoiled like a child. The staff is off by 9pm at night but you have your own set of keys so that you may come and go as you please and they are a phone call away at all times. Check in time is usually by 8pm at night but if you give them a call, such as we had to do due to being late, they will see that you get in to the Inn. I suggest you check out their web site at www.Alexander's Inn.com .
