Emerald Isle Condominiums

Best Things Nearby:
Lakes, water, beaches.

Best Things About the Resort:
Nice, quiet, peaceful, relaxing. On the lake (actually an inlet of the lake). Fish from just outside you condo. Nice pool, but can fill up quickly, slightly small. Clean, well taken care of, but a little older.

Resort Experience:
We loved it, it was just what we wanted! With 4 kids, ages 6 - 20, we all had a very nice relaxing time. With a lot of the other families going to the lake, we had the pool to ourselves quiet often. We were lucky to be there when the fishing tournament was there, and they had a big convention center full of fun for the whole family, with lots of give-aways. Our oldest, an architecture student, and I enjoyed a self-guided tour of the old hot springs hotels and spas. We all enjoyed the mountain! We had a great time just spending time together, and staying well within our budget. For cheap eats try CiCi's Pizza! A great, and cheap pizza buffet.

Bathhouses, entertainment, Garvin Gardens, and the LAKE!

Best Things About the Resort:
The two-bedroom units are spacious (1600 sq. ft.). The views from the living room and patio are beautiful.

Resort Experience:
The unit are very large and comfortable. There's a king-size bed in both bedrooms. There's also a washer/dryer in all units. All units have a beautiful view of lake.

It's a small resort off the main road in Hot Springs with easy access to everything. Paddle boat and canoe rentals are free. It's a great place to stay!

Best Things Nearby:
Hot spring baths and Brady Mountain Resort where you can rent a boat and go horseback riding.

Best Things About the Resort:
The rooms were spacious and nice and of course the kids like the swimming pool.

Resort Experience:
Overall the resort was nice and the proximity to downtown Hot Springs was great. The resort could offer a little more in the way of activities for families, and the grounds need a little updating, but other than that it is a great place to stay.

Best Things Nearby:
Lake with water sports (sky diving, boat rentals, jet ski rentals and even a showboat tour around Anthony Island) and also an antique mall, factory outlet, and shopping mall.

Best Things About the Resort:
Just on the outskirts of the city on a quiet setting.

Resort Experience:
The units are three stories with easy access to all floors. They are disability friendly. As you enter the unit you have a great view of the lake from the living area balcony.

The master bedroom shares the balcony. Both rooms have a sliding glass door to the balcony. If you are lucky enough to be on the first floor you can walk right out to the lake.

The bedrooms each have a king bed and are fully furnished. The sofa also becomes a queen bed if needed.

The kitchen is fully furnished with enough dinner ware to entertain a house full. The living area is combined with the dining area, which will seat eight. There is also a wet bar in the dining area.

The living area has a large sofa, loveseat, and chair. The entire timeshare is very spacious.

There is an outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub and spa located in the club house, which is locked when the main office is closed, but we were given a key during check in to access the club house.

I have found the ladies at the front desk to be very friendly. They do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

These units are located on the lake and I don't think you can get a room with a bad view. The sun comes up over the lake and dawn break. The last stay we were not informed of construction that was going on until we were checking in, but this was in January so business was a little slow. The clerks have always been very friendly and helpful. There is a boat dock and fishing dock on the premises.

When we are in the Hot Springs area we always try to get reservations at Emerald Isle. Love it!
