We arrived for check-in at 3:30 as we were instructed to do. However, our room wasn't ready until 7. We asked 2 bus drivers where we could go somewhere for a drink and the first said she didn't know and the second gave a place to try....(they were very friendly).

We landed in the Collisseum where we were told hor dourves were being served-yippee!!!! Well, we found the found....it was ham & cheese and tuna fish sandwhiches cut into squares, a vegetable crudetei (sp?) and some fried things. It was something you would expect to see at a high school, scratch that, grammar school dance, not something that you are paying hundreds of dollars a night for. Thankfully the fruit flies were free-the mixed drinks, however, were not.

Now we sit for dinner. They tried to sit us with 6 strangers...some of whom we could see their underwear because their jeans were slung so low and there jewelry was blinding and they were talking about smoking weed. We requested a private table and were told there was a 45 minute wait. Thanks, we will wait.

Food arrives with a smile-excellent service, however, our spoon had the remnants of the last 4 peoples' meals on it. GROSS.

We were going to go to the nightclub, but learned it was a d.j. and after what we had witnessed at dinner, we weren't taking our chances with second-hand weed smoke....no thanks.

So now we go to our previously smoked out room (housekeeping was wonderful and hid the smell for us very well) and tried to lay down. The bed is round and is ridiculously uncomfortable. The pillows are lumpy. Neither one of us slept-it was a torture. The room is completely outdated....and we couldn't help but think that a couple of porns had to be shot here. Disgusting!

Breakfast arrived at our room a little late, not that bad, but the meal itself sucked. It was something you would get at McDonald's....again, not worth the $$$ we were paying!.

Customer service was wonderful however and gave us a complete refund. I highly recommend that you do not go to this resort. Rent a room on skid row somewhere and go out for a massage and food-you'ld be better off.

Okay, this place is not what it’s set out to be. My boyfriend and I arrived, checked in and everything seemed to be fine. We started driving to our room and noticed a lot of really lame signs that made us feel like we were in some theme park. We got the Garden of Eden Apple room and upon arriving it was extremely outdated and not what you expect for 500 dollars a night. No microwave, no cups, and the bed felt like a rock. At dinner we were seated with three other couples not being offered our own table and it was extremely uncomfortable and awkward. It was so uncomfortable we got up and left before our dinner was served, drove ten miles to get Chinese food, then realized we had no silverware, called guest services for silverware..."sure drive down to the cafe and get it yourself". The pool inside the room was small but nice...didn't stay long enough to use the sauna. The shower handle didn't work well it was loose and kept scalding our skin because it wouldn't stay in one place. The Garden of Eden Apple room was supposed to come with satin sheets on which they called a "blush bed" and there weren't any satin sheets in our room. This is what the website says:
"The Blush Bed is an inviting king-sized round bed with a lush pillow top mattress. Layers of luxury featuring satin striped sheets, a plush duvet and silky smooth satin striped pillows will make you melt, setting the perfect mood. Experience the sexiness of the Blush Bed."
Hmmm really, how about a bed as hard as a rock with white outdated sheets and comforters with no pillow top mattress. If there was a pillow top mattress we might have been able to sleep instead of tossing and turning all night.
Okay a fireplace...looks outdated but wait....no logs. You have to buy them at the gift shop. All inclusive is supposed to mean everything included but not at this place. Skiing and horseback riding cost extra. So we were here in the winter and were excited about snowmobiling and tubing. Well the area to snowmobile was extremely small and probably would hold someone’s attention for ten minutes. Tubing was a little tiny hill that wasn't even worth going on.
For all the reviews on here that are positive... they must be people who work for Cove Haven because a lot of them mention that the people who leave negative comments are whiners or are expecting too much. I thought maybe a 500$ a night resort might be nice but we have stayed in 100$ a night hotels that were nicer. We had booked the room for two nights but were so disappointed that we left at at 7am after the first night.
For the people who are reading this and are thinking about going....honestly just save your money and time and go somewhere else. Trust me.

When we arrived at Cove Haven we were pleasantly surprised to see all of the activities available to us during our stay. The staff right from the get go was very pleasant and was willing to answer any question my wife and I had. Cove Haven is a "couples only" resort, which bluntly means there are no kids allowed! Everything at the resort is all-inclusive including breakfast and dinner meals, your choice of room, and certain activities.

Soon after getting our room key we headed to our suite. We had chosen the "Cove Fantasy". When we turned that key and opened the door, my wife and I were pleasanty surprised to see how large the room was. The room is a split level with a super large bathroom and more. On the top level there was a couple of sofas directly in front of a wood burning fireplace, which came in very hand during the cold winter nights. On the main level was our "sunken bedroom" with a round king size bed and mirrored headboard with celestial ceiling. Right out of a porn movie! Ha! We loved it! Of course we had a television in the room, but who needed it. There is also a refrigerator handy to keep your champagne cold!

As you walk thought the "sunken bedroom" you head into your large bathroom. To our left was a heart-shaped whirlpool bath for two. Bring some bubble bath! To your right was a set of his and her sinks and private shower. You don't realize how convenient those sinks are until you are getting ready to go out at night.

Wait, I am not finished. As you walk through the bathroom you reach another small room with your own private indoor heated swimming pool. You will also notice you are surround by walls made of mirrors. And in the same room you have access to your own private dry sauna. Whew, done. This was our own adult playground for four days!

When not spending time in the room, there are plenty of activities going on throughout the day. Cove Haven has a health club and spa where you can take a dip in their whirlpool or large indoor swimming pool.

There is also a sports center next to the swimming area with access to billiards, basketball, rollerskating, archery, and an arcade. There are certain times for basketball and rollerskating check with the desk.

There is also a second sports complex with indoor tennis, racquetball, mini golf, and indoor ice skating rink, ping pong, and bocce ball.

For outdoor fun visit the "Blizzard Chalet" for a ride on a snowmobile. For this you must register in advance. You can also tobaggan or snow tube if you desire.

This is a great romantic vacation for young couples and older couples alike. This place makes you feel like falling in love all over again.

Caesars Cove Haven

Since this trip was for our anniversary, we splurged and stayed in the Champagne Towers by Cleopatra. This trip cost $390 a night and included all you can eat breakfast, dinner, hors d'oeuvres, late night snacks, plenty of activities and an incredible room.

The room was paradise and made it very hard to leave and visit the rest of the resort. Our room had a seven-foot champagne glass whirlpool bath; heated heart-shaped swimming pool; fireplace (which you had to buy the log for it in the gift shop); sauna; massage table; shower for two which was also a steam roomm and a round king-sized bed. A small refrigerator was included in the room and was perfect to store strawberries and champagne.

In addition to the beautiful room, there were lots of activities for visitors to use. Personally, we did not participate in many of the activities (especially since it was our first weekend without our son in five years) but they included live entertainment at the clubs each night, waterskiing, golf driving range, horseback riding, paddle boats, speed boat rides, minature golf, bocce, indoor tennis, racquetball and minature golf and much more.

The best part of the resort. . . no children allowed.
