The rest of the resort was better. It would be perfect for a family. They had stacks of board games and books. Downstairs there was a sectional with a large screen TV with a large collection of movies for all ages. There were two indoor hot tubs downstairs, which were nice after skiing. The game room consisted of a bar sized pool table and about 4 arcade games.
The gym consisted of one treadmill and Bow flex machine. For exercise enthusiasts, the front desk has free passes to the gym at the base of Mt. Cranmore. The gym has a rock climbing wall, tennis, aerobic classes, nautilus, free weights, and an Olympic sized pool.
The staff was friendly for the most part. They were not happy when we asked for extra towels. I got them only after a lecture that towel day was Wednesday and that I shouldn't need more than I had.
The resort was OK for the money we paid ($200 as a bonus vacation), but it was a disappointment when compared to other timeshares we've stayed in. The location made it worth staying there. We were right next to downhill and cross-country skiing, tubing, and snow mobiling. The town of North Conway is a quaint New England town, with many family restaurants and shops.
