Best Things About the Resort:
secluded, quiet, and cozy
Resort Experience:
The timeshare is older, and a bit shabby. The units are single "houses" that sit on a steep hill overlooking Lake Travis marina. The units have a private and cozy feeling once inside. It wouldn't be accessible for a handicapped person, and would be difficult for someone with bad knees. Our unit had a fireplace, but we were there in September and didn't need any fires. There is a deck that goes around the house, which is nice for adults to access. It isn't safe for young children, as they could easily slip through the railing, and the only thing below was a very steep hill full of big rocks. We didn't use the deck because my 16-month-old grandson was too adventuresome, and we didn't want to take any chances.
It really isn't a resort geared to children. Most of the owners seemed older. There were no activities, and a one-person "staff." The staff person was nice, but not always accessible. It would be a nice place for someone who likes nature and a lot of privacy.
