After a week traveling about Ireland, I'd have to say it's the easiest place to find a friendly, comfy and cheap place--just look for the green shamrock and go. But of all of the places, my favorite is this one: The Corner B&B in Dingle.
The hostess, Kathleen Farrell, was an instant grandmother. We had the best breakfasts of our stay there, and after our first morning, she noticed what we did and didn't eat (I confess to not being a big bacon eater) and adjusted our servings accordingly, compensating with extra yogurt, fruit for the non-meat eater. Irish breakfasts are usually filling but this was a meal that obliviated the need for lunch!
