Fairly basic. Double beds, with 2 armchairs and coffee table; the large window was wonderful because the view was scented with a dewy, "Paris-after it rains" kind of feeling. They provide room and laundry service, neither of which we needed. There is also cable TV and IDD in the room. It was an overnight stay, so it was OK in terms of covering the must-haves. Bathroom had a dryer which is essential for me. I liked the lobby very much as one could sit on very, very cushy couches in several conversation piece areas. They also had a barber shop on the premises, and Chuck got his first taste of a Turkish haircut. It was interesting to watch the barber negotiate around Chuck''s hairless crown. They do use a lot of that lemon cologne in Turkey, which is everywhere, including the public restrooms. Despite the fact that no one spoke the other''s language, it was really quite pleasant. We did have breakfast here the next morning before heading out. They offered the usual fare, at which point, we had grown quite accustomed. There were few people in the dining room at the early morning hour and as it was a basically self serve situation, you ate as little or as much as you pleased.
This hotel is rated *** by Turkey''s standards. There were many other features which we did not get to sample, but you may want to note them in case you go: massage, doctor (I don''t know if this means on the premises), sauna, jaccuzzi, parking, disco leisure & sports fitness, table tennis, indoor swimming pool, children swimming pool, TV hall, night club, corporate meeting facilities including video screens.
