This was a convenient location for the film festival, located about 15 minutes from most of the film venues. Large comfortable rooms with full kitchen. Staff was very accommodating. We did not spend a lot of time at the resort, as we were at the Film Festival during the day.

Clean, convenient location, nice views, maid service twice weekly.
Resort Experience:
This was a resort on a golf course, with mountains in the background. It had nicely appointed units that were quiet and clean. Our unit appeared to have been remodeled recently. Lovely pool area. The snack bar/bar area had daily Happy Hour specials. Lots of activities, though we did not participate in them. Close to restaurants, golf courses, shopping, and a casino. Barbeque grills were outside of every building and at the pool. Units do not have laundry, but towels are replaced twice weekly and bed linens once. There were golf specials at several different courses in area. It was very close to the Palm Springs airport.

Best Things About the Resort:
The cleanest units and grounds we have ever experienced. One bedroom units roomy enough for four people. Activities to keep kids busy all week.
Resort Experience:
The one-bedroom units are spacious and clean. The units are cleaned twice weekly and the trash is taken out once a day by housekeeping staff. Grounds are kept impeccably clean and beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Activities kept our children busy the whole week. They were never "bored". The Gold Crown Rating definitely fits this resort and they try very hard to keep this rating.

Clean, comfortable, recently remodeled, nice pool and spa area, associated with a neighbor resort for golfing.
Resort Experience:
The LWDO is a beautiful resort - very clean, tropical feel, some units back onto golf course, others have pool or street view - all are nice. There is a community room with lots of activities for kids, pool parties, and member events going on - highly recommended.

Resort Experience:
All the units at LWDO are one-bedrooms, very comfortable for four people. The grounds are well-kept and pleasant to take a walk around. I've never been to a resort with more activities - they even have an ice-cream social. Situated next to a golf course, which is a huge bonus as well!
