It was a warm 41F, except on top of the mountain, where it was snowing. We loved it - we actually did all the mentioned activities in a single day and still found new stuff to do every day for the week. The food was fantastic, service was excellent, and the views were to die for. If heaven has such a view... the golf course appears to play down the mountain, looks like you're chipping your balls off a cliff, well… in my case, I was. The elk and moose do come out on the three courses often, and the moose are not like that cartoon moose I saw on TV as a kid either! Activities aplenty, food is yummy, service was amazing, and the memories, the memories, I would have paid twice as much!

An amazing place in an amazing town. The service is great and the rooms are just right. The view is amazing. The building is very neat and has great restaurants and shopping on-site.

Our Fairmont deluxe room came with king-size bed, luxurious bathroom with Jacuzzi, high-speed Internet, coffeemaker, and stunning views of the valley. The hotel had a choice of restaurants, etc., and over and above all had personal, friendly service.

We had a junior suite which had its own bedroom with two queen beds, a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a kitchenette. It was tastefully furnished.

Rising out of the ground like the mountains that surround it, the Banff Springs Hotel is a testament to luxury. A grand entranceway, accented with live bagpipe music, leads to impeccable service and lavish rooms. The visual appearance of the hotel spa alone is enough to melt your stress away. The rooms offer exceptional views and the hotel is a ten minute walk from cozy downtown Banff. Book reservations far in advance if you plan to visit during the summer months.
